Nick Jonas is making his acting comeback with Robert Schwartzman’s film The Good Half. The trailer for the film was released on Friday, which was shared by Priyanka Chopra on her Instagram Stories. The feel good movie that revolves around love, life and loss, also stars Brittany Snow, Elisabeth Shue, Alexandra Shipp, David Arquette, and Matt Walsh in pivotal roles.

The nearly three-minute-long video shows the character of Alexandra Shipp, Zoey Abbot, strike up a conversation with Renn Wheeland, played by Nick Jonas on board a plane. The trailer then introduces us to the characters of Brittany Snow, David Arquettte, and Elisabeth Shue, who are playing the roles of Renn’s sister, step father, and mother, respectively. The family meets for their mother’s funeral, where Renn’s father, played by Matt Walsh encourages his children to find “closure and personal growth.”

Priyanka Chopra shared the trailer on her Instagram Stories with a star eyed emoji, tagging her husband Nick Jonas. Meanwhile, Nick too took to his Instagram stories to share a photo of Priyanka Chopra in an all white attire. Captioning the post, he wrote, “Wife appreciation post. Wow.” The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, are parents to a daughter — Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

Previously, Nick Jonas has shown his acting talent in films like Jumanji: The Next Level and a cameo role in Love Again. As a teenager, he appeared in films like Camp Rock.

Festive offer

The Good Half premiered at the Tribeca Festival last year on June 8. The film is scheduled for a commercial release on July 23.
