Karishma Tanna, who last featured in the Hansal Mehta directorial Scoop, recently gave a tour of her house in Mumbai and it is all things regal. From showing off her long ceilings to customised curtains and her Marshall speaker, Karishma spoke in detail about every tiny thing she has kept in her home and the stories behind them. The actor has decorated her house in a white and grey theme and has kept many idols of Buddha, claiming both she and her husband love the religious teacher. She also gave a tour of her balcony, where she and her husband Varun Bangera enjoy barbeque nights during winters.
In a recent interaction with Brut India, Karishma revealed her daily routine. The actor, who starts her day at 8 in the morning, does a little pranayam followed by drinking her detox water, meditation, and then workout session. Karishma said, “After my gym, I have coffee. I chill for some time and then I head out for my weight training.”
Showing off her beautiful kitchen, Karishma revealed on Sundays, she and her husband often eat South Indian food. She said, “On Sundays, we have Idli and dosa. I love it because more than Varun, I am a South Indian. So every Sunday, I need it.” The actor further revealed that even before her marriage to Varun Bangera, she only ate South Indian food on Sundays.
In the same interaction, the Scoop actor talked about her Instagram addiction. She said, “Until last year, I used to be on Instagram a lot. If I open Instagram, I spend one good hour on it because there are so many funny reels and you laugh. And then you realise I have wasted my one hour. Now I have decided to spend more time doing other things like watching TV or play with my dogs and listen to informative videos.”
Karishma Tanna also tested her Gen Z lingo skills. While discussing the word “Ghost”, the actor confessed that she knows the word because she ghosts a lot of people. She said, “You have to ghost people, It’s necessary for your mind to be sane.”
Karishma later took part in a small game where the host asked her, “If she ever had a chance to switch lives with a fictional character, who it would be?” Karishma replied, “Alexis Rose from Schitt’s Creek. I would actually be both Moira Rose and Alexis Rose. I like the mixture of both because I am both.”
She added, “The moment I finished that show, I just wanted to behave like them. And I feel that I relate to them because there are a lot of situations when I see, I am Moira, you know? And my husband also tells me, ‘Isn’t this you? Like, did you just behave the same way?’ It’s weird.”
Karishma Tanna also recalled her passion for guitar. She said she wanted to learn to play Guitar, but after her tutor told her that she will have to cut her nails, the actor decided to drop the idea. “I am like that’s too much of effort. So I didn’t do it. And also, it used to hurt my fingers. So I look at a good guitarist and I am like, ‘Damn, I wish I could learn this.’”
Toward the end of the interaction, Karishma expressed her desire to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan. She said, “A, he is a gem of a person. B, he is extremely talented, very knowledgeable and I would get to learn so much from him. I would get to educate myself. The way he is so humble, it is very inspiring.”
