Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who tied the knot on June 23, have jetted off to the Philippines to celebrate their second honeymoon. Earlier, the couple shared photos from their first romantic getaway in Singapore. This time, they have decided to relax on the beautiful beaches of the Philippines.
However, there was a small glitch in Sonakshi and Zaheer’s vacation plan as the two had to take separate flights. Sonakshi shared a beautiful photo of the picturesque property, showcasing the stunning view and a pool, and revealed that she is at the resort but waiting for hubby Zaheer to join her. She wrote, “Honeymoon round 2. Now just waiting for @iamzahero to get here because we had to take separate flights.”

Before jetting off to the Philippines, Sonakshi was busy with the promotions of her latest film, Kakuda. During an earlier interaction with indianexpress.com, when Sonakshi was asked why she returned to work so soon after tying the knot with Zaheer, she said, “I just got married, guys. Pata nahi aisa bhi kya kar diya maine.” When asked whether she’s not planning to take off for her honeymoon with Zaheer, she said, “Maine woh bhi kar diya. And now I am back to work, and I am loving it.”
Before Kakuda, Sonakshi was seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web show Heeramandi. She garnered huge praise for her role as Fareedan. Sonakshi’s last theatrical release, Double XL with Huma Qureshi, was panned by critics and also failed at the box office. Her latest film, Kakuda, has also received a lukewarm response from critics and is streaming on Zee5.
