Priyanka Chopra’s arrival in Mumbai on Friday was a pleasant surprise to all her fans. The actor came to India to take part in her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding festivities. Priyanka was clicked on Friday evening dressed in a striking magenta saree as she attended a dinner reception for brother Siddharth and sister-in-law Neelam.
Siddharth and Neelam Upadhyaya are hosting a lowkey wedding celebration and from the photos and videos being shared on social media, it looks like they participated in a few rituals as they showed off their engagement ring. The festivities saw the attendance of their family members. Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, was absent from the festivities.
The new couple was also seen posing with Priyanka Chopra and Madhu Chopra. Priyanka’s cousin, Mannara too was spotted in the video. Later that day, the couple hosted an intimate reception party for their close friends.
The wedding festivities kickstarted on Friday, after Priyanka Chopra’s arrival in the country. The actress completed her look with a layered pearl choker and matching pearl earrings. She styled her hair in a loose updo with soft curls framing her face.
In a now-viral video, the actress can be seen arriving at the venue with her close friend Tamanna Dutt. After the actress’ arrival, the photographers stationed at the venue began clicking her photos and this caused some commotion between them and PC’s security personnel. Upon noticing the situation, the actress gestured towards her security personnel to calm down. She then turned and posed for the photographers.
This marks Priyanka Chopra’s third visit to India this year after her brother’s roka ceremony followed by Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.
In April 2024, Siddharth Chopra had a roka ceremony with his longtime girlfriend Neelam Upadhyaya. The event was attended by Priyanka Chopra, her husband and pop singer Nick Jonas, as well as their daughter Malti Marie.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is all set to be seen in the film The Bluff. She will also be seen in Heads of State, also starring Idris Elba and John Cena.
