Actor Ajay Devgn recently leased out his commercial office space in Andheri, Mumbai, to director Kabir Khan, according to transactions reviewed by Square Yards. Kabir Khan Entertainment will pay a monthly rent of Rs 7 lakh to lease the property. The lease and license agreement was reportedly formalised this September. It incurred a stamp duty Rs 1.12 lakh. The Drishyam star’s office is situated in Signature Tower. The project, developed by Lotus Developers, is located along the Veera Desai Road in Oshiwara. According to Square Yards, the leased property spans 3,455 sq ft and includes three car parking spaces. The agreement is secured with a Rs 30 lakh deposit and for a lease term of 60-months (5 years from the date of agreement).
Ajay Devgn, along with his wife, actor Kajol, own multiple properties in Signature Tower. According to Business Today, in April, 2023, the Singham star bought five units in Mumbai’s Andheri West for Rs 45.09 crore. The deal was made two years after he bought a home of 474.4 sq mt in Juhu for Rs 47.5 crore.
Other actors to have bought commercial spaces in Signature Towers are megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and Love Aaj Kal 2 co-stars Sara Ali Khan, and Kartik Aaryan.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be soon seen in Rohit Shetty’s action film Singham Again. Apart from Ajay, the film also stars actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor, among others. The film is scheduled to hit the big screen on November 1. Apart from Singham Again, Ajay Devgn will also be seen in the sequels of his films De De Pyar De (2019) and Raid (2018). Meanwhile, Kabir Khan’s last venture was the Kartik Aryan-starrer Chandu Champion.
