Diljit Dosanjh has been the highlight of the year with his performances both as an actor, and singer across the world. Be it his film Amar Singh Chamkila, which streamed on Netflix earlier this year, his performance at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, or his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Diljit has been on a constant high. The Punjabi actor-singer has also been in the news for his Dil-Luminati tour. After having performed in various parts of the world, Diljit is all set to kick start the European and Indian leg of the tour. His recently concluded North American part of the tour was quite successful and his manager revealed that his concerts generated a revenue of 28 million dollars.
Recently, Diljit’s manager Sonali Singh shared some inside reports of the tickets that were sold for the singer’s concert. In an interview with Connect Cine, she revealed, “There were resellers who were selling tickets for $64,000 (Rs 54 lakh) and $55,000 (Rs 46 lakh), and there were also buyers for it.” She clarified, “That wasn’t the official ticket prices, but there is a trend where people usually buy and then resell it.” She also shared, “We generated close to $28 million (Rs 234 crore) during his North America Dil-Luminati tour.”
Speaking about the upcoming Europe tour, Sonali said, “The tickets for first show in UK sold out in couple of hours. We were hesitant to announce a second show, but by the second day, it was too completely sold out. We were then discussing whether or not to have a third show, but a report claimed that around 80,000 people were waiting in queue for a ticket to Diljit’s concert.”

Amid his India tour, which will kick start in October, Diljit will be performing in Abu Dhabi for a day. Talking about the response the singer received in the city, Sonali said, “In Abu Dhabi, we have sold close to 30,000 tickets–highest for any Indian aritst.”
On Thursday, tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India tour were made available for sale in India. However, within a few minutes, the tickets were sold out. The cheapest ticket was priced at Rs 1499 for the Silver Area, whereas the tickets for Golden Area were sold for Rs 3999, Rs 4999, and Rs 5999, in different phases. Tickets for fan pits were sold between 9999 and Rs 12999, respectively. Diljit’s India tour will kick start on October 26 in Delhi. He will tour 10 cities in a span of two months and conclude the India tour in Guwahati on December 29.
