As the new season of Bigg Boss is all set to return, the buzz around Salman Khan’s reality show has only been getting stronger. Indianexpress.com reported last week that Bigg Boss 18 would premiere on October 5 on Colors TV. While the house is being readied for the new season, a tentative list of contestants has also caught the attention of the audience. Now, a new development on the Bigg Boss 18 front is that Salman Khan will have Abdu Rozik join him as a co-host this season. The Tajikistan-based singer confirmed this news while talking to Times Of India.
Abdu Rozik had appeared on the reality show as a contestant on Bigg Boss 16 and now as he returns to Bigg Boss 18, the singer is very excited about his new role. Abdu told TOI that he will be seen hosting some special segments on the show, and is thrilled to be back. Recalling his time on Bigg Boss 16, Abdu said it was a beautiful time, but now he is excited to bring his ‘energy and passion’ to these special segments. Planning to give his best to this opportunity, Abdu also shared that he is working on his language and vocal skills.
While Abdu is excited to show the audience what he has in store for them, this new responsibility feels like ‘coming home’ for Abdu. Revealing that this season will be full of excitement, Abdu shared that is looking forward to the ‘surprises and engaging moments’ that have been planned for the latest season.
Earlier this year, Abdu Rozik had announced that he will tie the knot on July 7. However, his wedding was later postponed. Abdu had jokingly shared that he wanted to earn more money for his wife which is why he decided to push the wedding.
As for the Bigg Boss 18 contestants, the tentative list features names like Splitsvilla 15 finalists Digvijay Singh Rathee and Kashish Kapoor, Surbhi Jyoti, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Patel, Sameera Reddy, Pooja Sharma, Shoaib Ibrahim, Dalljiet Kaur, Abhishek Malhan, Mr. Faisu, Deepika Arya, Dolly Chaiwala, Maxtern, Thugesh. Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestants Vishal Pandey, Adnaan Shaikh, Kritika Malik, and Shivani Kumari have also been reportedly approached for the show.
