As the new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi approaches, speculation about the contestants of the Rohit Shetty-hosted reality show is only getting stronger. While Abhishek Kumar and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are confirmed as participants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, indianexpress.com can now reveal that Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz and Tiger Shroff’s sister Krishna Shroff will also be seen on the show. From what we know, the shooting for the new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi will begin in May-end in Romania.
Talking about joining the new season, Asim Riaz shared in a statement, “I’m thrilled about overcoming challenges and testing my limits on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. This show makes contestants braver and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot about life from this show. I can’t wait to show my fans what I’m truly capable of. They’ve loved me unconditionally and stood up for me throughout my journey in the entertainment industry. My adventure on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 will entirely be about making my fans proud.”
Krishna Shroff also shares, “I’m super grateful for this opportunity and the fact that I get to experience something this unique! I love challenging myself, so what better way than seeing how far I’m able to push myself both physically and mentally through my journey at Khatron Ki Khiladi?”
For those who don’t know, Asim Riaz was formerly a model and he rose to fame with Bigg Boss 13. He emerged as the runner-up on the show and his friendship with the late Siddharth Shukla got him immense popularity. Last year, Asim also made headlines for his break up with his fiancee Himanshi Khurana whom he had met on Bigg Boss 13. Commenting on his break-up, Asim’s brother Umar Riaz had exclusively told us that the couple parted ways due to religious differences. “There is always a reason for everything to happen in life, and we forget about God often. But both Asim and Himanshi represent different cultures from Kashmir and Punjab. When these two people meet, there are some aspects involved, and a few of them might not give a damn about those, but sometimes those aspects have to be considered. So when they thought about those aspects, they realized them being together anymore was difficult,” he said.
Krishna Shroff, meanwhile, is actor Jackie Shorff’s daughter and she has featured in a few films in the past. She is also a fitness enthusiast.
Other contestants who are speculated to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 include names likes Shoaib Ibrahim, Sumon Chakravarti, Dhanashree Verma, Manisha Rani, Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Srirama Chandra, and a few others.
