In the past few years, Ayesha Takia has often made headlines for her drastic transformation and changed looks. Just two days ago, the Wanted star shared a photo of herself draped in a beautiful blue Kanjeevaram saree paired with heavy gold necklace. The actress’ unrecognisable look caught the attention of her fans and followers.
Taking to her post’s comment section a fan wrote, “Looking nice but natural beauty always perfect.” Another user wrote, “Can’t find that cute girl anymore .. anyway.. God bless and keep smiling.” Other comments read, “You were the Queen of Bollywood once”, “You were my childhood crush”, and “Indian Barbie”.
There were also a set of people who criticised and trolled the actress for “ruining her natural beauty”.
The actress made a lot of noise in February when she was spotted outside the Mumbai airport after a long time. Soon after the photos and videos of the actress went viral, she was heavily trolled for her transformation. However, just a day later, Ayesha gave a befitting reply to the haters.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Ayesha penned a long note that read, “Turns out there are no other important issues in the country except dissecting my looks… been bombarded with viral ridiculous opinions of how people think I should have looked and don’t.”
The actress who left acting after tying the knot with Farhan Azmi in 2009, further stated, “Get over me. I have zero interest in doing any films or any comeback like people are saying. I am living my life happily, never want to be in the limelight, not interested in any fame, don’t wanna be in any film. Please feel free to not care about me at all.”
She slammed the trolls for expecting her to look identical to how she looked 15 years ago, when she was a teen. “How unrealistic and ridiculous are these people.” She further suggested them to find better things to do in life than picking on someone.
Before this, in 2023, the actress was once again attacked for having done a facial surgery. Back then the actress shared cryptic notes in response. She shared a post that read, “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.”
In another post, the actress shared a mirror selfie of herself and captioned it: “Don’t let anyone tell you to dim your confidence and self love. We live in a world of judgements and bullying, so we need to rise above that and just be who we are and be proud of it. Love yourself.”
Ayesha Takia made her Bollywood debut with the 2004 film Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Later, she starred in films like Salaam-e-ishq, Wanted, Paathshaala, De Taali, and Socha Na Tha, among others, before she retired from the industry.
