Days after welcoming his daughter with wife and actress Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh made his first public appearance at an event hosted by the Reliance Foundation and Nita Ambani. The event named “United in Triumph” was held to celebrate the victory of India’s Olympians and Paralympians in the recently held games.  At the event, Ranveer showcased his newly bulked-up look as he greeted the photographers stationed at the venue. In one of the videos from the event, Ranveer Singh can be seen greeting paps and expressing his joy on becoming a father.

The video, which has now gone viral, shows Ranveer Singh expressing his happiness with folded hands as paps congratulate him for becoming a father. After posing for the pictures, the actor walked towards the paps to shake hands with them. As he greeted them, in happiness, he exclaimed, “Baap ban gaya re”.

His warm demeanor has been winning hearts on social media, with one user commenting, “So down to earth,” and another saying, “Awee, new daddy.” For the occasion, he donned an all-black suit paired with a white shirt, formal pants, and a gold watch.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a daughter, on September 8, 2024, almost six years after their marriage in 2018. They shared the news in a joint Instagram post featuring a postcard that read, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024”.

On the work front, Ranveer will soon reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which will also feature new mom Deepika Padukone, alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor. Additionally, he is preparing for Aditya Dhar’s untitled action thriller, co-starring Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, for which he has reportedly gained 15 kg. He was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
