Best iPhone 15 deals
Although there are no straightforward discounts on any of the iPhone 15 series devices, Apple’s trade-in program is offering as much as $630 off when you hand over your old device. Specifically, you can get $170-$630 when you trade in an iPhone 11 or higher. The iPhone Upgrade Program or Apple Card financing (and cash back) are also options, and you can save even more when you opt to sign up with a carrier.
Right now, carrier deals through Apple include paying as little as zero dollars with trade-in for either Verizon or T-Mobile and as little as $2.75 a month for AT&T customers. You can get up to $830 in trade-in credit (paid in bill credits over 36 months) on select carrier deals, so that gets you the iPhone 15 for free or the 15 Plus for $70.
Order one of the latest iPhones from Walmart and you can snag the biggest trade-in discount, with as much as $1,200 off the Pro Max models. There is an instant savings of $200 on the Pro Max if you buy a Verizon or AT&T model on a qualifying installment plan. The remaining savings of up to $1,000 are available when you trade in a device. Note that Walmart’s list prices are $50 above Apple’s retail prices.
Verizon customers adding a new line on an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan can save up to $830 on the base iPhone 15, which nets you the phone for free.
If you’ve got an eligible phone to trade in, you can get up to $930 off the iPhone 15 Plus or $1,000 off the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
If you don’t have a phone to trade in but want to add a new line, Verizon is also offering $830 off the iPhone 15; $750 off the iPhone Plus; $820 off the Pro and $840 off the Pro Max.
Verizon is also offering up to $460 off of an iPad 9th Gen or $300 off an Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) when bundled with this purchase. Just note that you’ll need to add a new line for either device to take advantage of the offer.
AT&T customers on a qualifying unlimited plan can save up to $700 on the iPhone 15 or up to $1,000 on the 15 Pro and Pro Max with an eligible trade-in and buy on an installment plan. Even old and damaged phones with a trade-in value of just $35 or more will net you trade-in savings, so you may be surprised at what that cracked iPhone in your drawer is worth. The discount is applied in the form of bill credits over 36 months, and you’ll have to pay the remaining balance if you cancel your service before then.
T-Mobile is offering quite a few different ways to save on the iPhone 15 series. If you’ve got an old phone to trade in, you can save up to $830 if you’re on a Go5G Plus or Next plan; $300 if you’re on a Go5G, Magenta or One rate plan; or $200 if you’re on a different qualifying service plan. Going straight for a trade-in and nabbing the Go5G Next plan can net you up to $1,000 off.
You can also save up to $830 on all of the phones in the series both with trade-in or a new line of service, which nets you the iPhone 15 for free.
AT&T and Verizon customers can save up to $1,000 on the iPhone 15 series with a trade-in through Best Buy as long as they have or switch to a qualifying unlimited plan. You can also get three free months of Apple TV Plus, Apple Fitness Plus and Apple Music, plus four months of Apple Arcade. AT&T customers can also save an additional $100 off the price of any of the iPhone 15 series phones. For a limited time, Best Buy is throwing in a free pair of AirPods (2nd Gen) with a charging case for some iPhone Plus purchases.
Best Buy also has its own trade-in program where you can save up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in, although the tech retailer isn’t carrying any unlocked models at the moment.
If you want the standard iPhone 15, you can get it for free when you sign up for Boost Infinite’s Infinite Access plan at $60 a month. It’s similar to Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program in that you can upgrade to the newest iPhone each year, but it rolls in unlimited talk, text and 5G data, plus 5GB of data while roaming in Mexico and Canada, and unlimited talk and text from the US to Mexico and Canada. You don’t need to trade in a device to get started, although each annual upgrade requires you to give back the old iPhone.
If you prefer the iPhone 15 Plus, you can get a similar offer with the Infinite Access plan, but you’ll pay just under $3 per month. The Pro will be just under $5 per month and the Pro Max just over $10 per month.
Although Mint Mobile doesn’t currently have any discounts on the base price, if you get an iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max or Plus and sign up for one year of wireless service, you’ll get 6 months for free.
Target doesn’t have any straightforward discounts on any of the iPhone 15 series phones, but you can get up to $700 of trade-in credit on the iPhone 15 or up to $250 off the iPhone 15 Plus when you switch to AT&T and buy the 15 Plus. If you prefer the Pro or Pro Max, you can get up to $1,000 in trade-in credit. These are not unlocked models, and they require an installment plan and service activation through AT&T. You can also get up to $250 off when you switch to AT&T and buy the phone, and $50 off if you’re upgrading.
You get two months of Apple Music for free with Target Circle, and Target Red Card members can save up to an additional $50 per phone.
Although Consumer Cellular doesn’t have any discounts, you can get up to $700 trade-in credit on the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, Pro or Pro Max. Currently, all makes and models are in stock but they aren’t unlocked. Consumer Cellular has plans starting at $20 per month.
