Bigg Boss 18 has begun with 18 contestants who walked into the house on Sunday. Right from the first morning of the show, drama began in the house where actor Shehzada Dhami emerged as a red flag, while actor Vivian Dsena came across as a strong contender. While all contestants are currently busy showcasing their quirks, the highlight of Monday’s episode was Vivian Dsena’s intense conversation about stardom with Shehzada Dhami and Avinash Mishra.

While sitting in the garden, Vivian revisited how becoming a star during his time was difficult, his assessment left Shehzada Dhami offended. Vivian Dsena said, “Earlier it took ages to become a hero, you will only see those 10-15 heroes.” Reacting to this, Shehzada kept his counterview and said, “But you worked when the audience was only focused on TV.” Avinash Mishra also asked Vivian not to generalize everyone with one perception.

Vivian further explained, “Do we have those kinds of serious actors working right now? I am purely talking about acting here, not good looks or a good body. Your primary job is to be a good actor, the mindset today is influenced by short-spanned success. The success ratio has reduced today because it is getting to people’s heads faster.”

As Shehzada took offense to these remarks from Vivian, he once again brought up his controversy with Rajan Shahi and said, “I was so focused on my acting, but that attitude about ‘oh I am a big star’ relies on other factors too. Even if production houses think they have made actors big today, they work with this approach. They are like, if you don’t work according to me, why should I make you a star? That mindset of I am a star-maker is wrong. And if you say that new actors don’t work hard, I find it offensive.”

Keeping his take on Shehzada’s point, Vivian added, “This is probably a dark phase you went through. In 36 years of my life, I have learned one thing, your success and your capacity will never be decided by what you do, but by the kind of beating you can take, get up, and start moving with the same intensity. Focus on your work, if you keep thinking about the end result, you will never be successful.”

While the conversation ended here, later Arfeen Khan, Vivian, and Avinash were discussing how Shehzada keeps bringing up this controversy again and again. Avinash also pointed out how Salman Khan asked Shehzada to move on, while Arfeen stated that the young actor was playing the victim card and people like these cannot survive in the game for long.
