As Bollywood star Anil Kapoor takes over as the new host of Bigg Boss OTT, replacing Salman Khan, there is excitement among fans. During the show’s press conference held on Tuesday, Bigg Boss winner, stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui asked the Ram Lakhan actor if comparisons with the Dabangg actor bothered him.
Anil replied, “Munawar, this is a very wrong question, which has been put to me. No one can replace Salman Khan, and no one can replace Anil Kapoor as well. Salman is very happy. I spoke to him earlier about this. Let’s not create any controversy, that will happen in Bigg Boss’ house.”

An excited Anil added, “I’ve done many movies, and judged shows but have never done something like Bigg Boss. I’m very excited for it.” The actor further revealed that his wife, Sunita Kapoor, who he calls real Bigg Boss, is equally excited for the show. “My friends and family members are very excited about the show. I have taken inspiration from my wife. When she got to know that I was doing this show, she asked me if I’d seen her handle the house or not. I agreed to her and she then asked me to handle the Bigg Boss house in the same way. I am just very excited,” he said.
Anil Kapoor then humorously joked about his reverse ageing and opened up about the conversation he had with Salman Khan. “He told me, ‘Tu sabko sambhalna waise bhi tu umar mein mujhe chota dikhta hai (You look younger than me). Agar kuch gadbad huyi toh hum dono mil kar sabko theek kar denge.”
