As Bigg Boss OTT 3 clocks three weeks, ‘Vada Pav girl’ Chandrika Dixit Gera‘s journey on the show came to an end. She is the fifth contestant to exit the show after Neeraj Goyat, Payal Malik, Poulomi Das, and Munisha Khatwani. Ahead of her exit, Chandrika earned the ire of host Anil Kapoor on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. While her journey on the show has been quite a dramatic one, Chandrika seems to have fulfilled her purpose of coming on Bigg Boss OTT 3.
For those who don’t know, the ‘Vada Pav Girl’ wanted people to see her real side contrary to what has been established on social media. However, she left the house with several other tags of being a hypocrite, a man-hater, etc. In the latest weekend episode, Chandrika was called out for character-assassinating Vishal Pandey for his distasteful comment about Kritika Malik. Anil even schooled Chandrika for spreading hate for Vishal amongst other contestants and asked housemates about her loyalty towards her accomplices in the show.
Not just that, Chandrika was also slammed for creating a false narrative about Sai Ketan Rao. Throughout her journey, the housemates were fond of Chandrika for her cooking skills and helpful nature. However, many have also had issues with her personality.
Ahead of entering the show, Chandrika had addressed her controversy with the Delhi Municipal Corporation with regards to her Vada Pav cart being a publicity stunt. She had said, “It wasn’t like mine was the only cart in Delhi! I can’t stand anything wrong. When only my cart was threatened to be taken away multiple times, I just couldn’t take it and took action in my own capacity. Now it is all fine, but if there arises any problem again, I will fight, I won’t back down. The phase made me stronger. It was mental torture, there was high pressure, crowd of 600 people including vloggers, people accusing you, calling you good or bad. You shouldn’t judge me without knowing me.”
