Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui made headlines last week for his secret wedding to make-up artist Mehzabeen Coatwala in Mumbai. Reportedly, the stand-up comedian turned actor had an intimate wedding ceremony with only 100 guests. Actress Hina Khan is also rumored to have attended the wedding, in fact, it was her story on social media that sparked rumors of Munawar’s secret wedding to Mehzabeen Coatwala. This is the second time that Munawar has taken the plunge. While the actor has not made any official announcements, he seems to have given a big hint with his latest Instagram story.
Turns out Munawar Faruqui’s wife attended his live show recently and shared a story of him performing a romantic song. And Munawar too has reshared the story, giving his fans a hint about the big news.

About Munawar Faruqui’s wife Mehzabeen Coatwala…
For those who don’t know, Munawar’s second wife Mehzabeen Coatwala belongs to the Memon community amongst the Muslims. She resides at Agripada, Mumbai Central, South Mumbai. Mehzabeen was earlier married and also has a 10-year-old daughter from her first marriage.

As for Munawar, the comedian-turned-actor made news last year when he was on Bigg Boss 17. Munawar received brickbats after he was accused by Ayesha Khan of playing with her emotions. Ayesha entered the show stating that Munawar had promised to marry her and even flirted with her after breaking up with Nazila. She had even shared that Munawar had sent a wedding proposal to another girl before he entered Bigg Boss.
Munawar also shared a small poetry last night as a cryptic post which made fans speculate further. Now as all of them eagerly wait for an official announcement soon, this hint might bring Munawar’s fans a little sigh of relief.
On the work front, Munawar will make his acting debut with First Copy.
