Emmy Awards 2024 Live: The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held at the prestigious Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, honoring the best prime-time television shows in America from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024. Fans in India will be able to catch the ceremony early on Monday, September 16.
The award show will kick off at 8 PM Eastern Time (ET) on Sunday. For Indian viewers, the ceremony will begin at 5:30 am Indian Standard Time (IST) on Monday. Fans can watch it live via Lionsgate Play.
This year, the Emmys will be hosted by the father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, who were last seen together in the popular 2015 show Schitt’s Creek. The final season of the series swept seven Emmy Awards. Created by Dan and Eugene Levy, Schitt’s Creek received widespread critical acclaim and developed a cult following.

The Emmy Award categories this year are divided into three main classes: the regular Primetime Emmy Awards, the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which honour behind-the-scenes achievements, and the Primetime Engineering Emmy Awards, which recognise contributions to television technology.
Leading the nominations this year is Shogun, with a total of 25 nominations, including nods for Best Limited Series. It also earned first-time acting nominations for stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai. In addition to Shogun, The Bear and Baby Reindeer are also among the top contenders at this year’s awards.
