Amazon Prime Video on Friday shared a trailer of the unscripted show Follow Kar Lo Yaar, which gives a sneak peek into Uorfi Javed’s everyday life and dream of becoming India’s Kim Kardashian. The video gives a glimpse of Uorfi’s family, her friends as well as special appearance by Sanya Malhotra, Orry, Sandeep Khosla, and Munawar Faruqui. The show is set to stream from August 23.
In the over two-minute-long trailer, Uorfi showcases her unfiltered version, right from wanting too look young to having a tooth broken. The video shows it all. It starts with a montage of Uorfi, where in the background, she can be heard saying, “Either I will die or I will make the world go crazy.” In the next few shots, Uorfi’s younger sister can be seen calling her “cool” and “broad-minded”. The trailer also reveals Uorfi’s desire to create a unicorn in the next five years. The next shot features Abu Jani who asks her, “What business you want to make? Sex toys?” To which, Uorfi laughs and replies, “No.”
The trailer also introduces us to Uorfi’s mother Zakia Sulatana, who claims Uorfi is the bread-winner of the family. Meanwhile, it seems like Uorfi’s sisters are not convinced with the claim. The video also shows the Javed sisters fight and scream. In another frame, Orry can be seen talking to Uorfi and posing a question to her, “Are you going to be so attached to your fame that one day when it’s going away, you’ll go crazy?” We then see Munawar saying, “Crazy is the perfect word for Uorfi.” He also makes fun of the show’s title and says, “It sounds extremely desperate.”
Uorfi Javed rose to fame with her unique and arguably bold fashion sense. She became a viral sensation post pandemic. Uorfi has also been part of several reality shows.
