It has been a few weeks since Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh went missing. And while there have been no major updates in the case, it only seems to get deeper as the probe continues. Now, a News18 report suggests that the Delhi Police visited the Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah set in Mumbai. As per the report, Gurucharan’s co-stars who were in touch with him were questioned.
The report quoted a source from the production team saying, “This week, Delhi police visited our sets and spoke with the actors who were in touch with Gurucharan Singh. Everyone has co-operated well with the police. Also, there were some rumors related to Gurucharan Singh’s payments being due from the production house. But, the police found that the payment of the actor was cleared long ago.”
Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’s Head of Production Sohail Ramani also told the publication, “As a part of their investigation, Delhi police had visited our set. They went back assured that there were no dues from our end towards Gurucharan Singh. We continue to pray for his well-being and hope he is found soon.”
A few days back, the Delhi Police suspected that Gurucharan Singh had planned his disappearance. During the investigations, they realised that the actor left his phone back in Delhi’s Palam area, and was also seen switching E-rickshaws. A report also suggested that Gurucharan had multiple bank accounts and emails that he operated from.
Some time back, Gurucharan’s TMKOC co-star Samay Shah had exclusively spoken to Indianexpress.com and shared that the missing actor was working on his Punjabi film, and he was also making an app. Samay said they had spoken a few months ago and Gurucharan had motivated Samay in their last conversation.
