Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra recently got engaged to actor Neelam Upadhyaya in an intimate ceremony held in Mumbai. The engagement was attended by Priyanka, her cousin and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Mannara Chopra, along with other close family members. Photos and videos from the ceremony have surfaced on social media, showing the ‘Desi Girl’ blessing the newly engaged couple.
Neelam also shared exclusive photos from the hastakshar and engagement ceremony. The images showcase her in a stunning pink traditional outfit, posing happily with Siddharth. The couple can also be seen signing documents in the presence of their family members and guests, marking the official beginning of their journey together.
In the clips, the couple is seen posing with the Chopra family, proudly showing off their engagement rings as they smile for the camera. Siddharth and Neelam are also seen bending down to take blessings from Siddharth’s elder sister Priyanka, who warmly blesses them before embracing the couple. Additional glimpses reveal Priyanka dancing and posing with the couple, alongside her mother Madhu Chopra.
Earlier in April, Siddharth and Neelam had a roka ceremony, which was also graced by Priyanka. She had shared pictures from the function on Instagram, where Nick Jonas and their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, were also present.
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra recently wrapped up the schedule of her Hollywood film The Bluff in Australia. The movie is directed by Frank E. Flowers. Additionally, she has the Idris Elba and John Cena-starrer Heads of State in the pipeline.
