Ahead of her grand wedding, Radhika Merchant celebrated her Mameru ceremony on Wednesday night. The Gujarati ritual has the bride-to-be’s maternal uncles gifting her jewellery and clothes. The ceremony was held at the Ambani residence in Mumbai.
Photos and videos from the ceremony are being widely circulated online. Apart from the Ambani family, Radhika’s friend Janhvi Kapoor along with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya was also spotted at the event. Orry took to his Instagram handle to give a sneak peek of the event.
For her big day, Radhika wore a multicolour lehenga. She completed her look with statement jewellery and neatly braided hair. The groom-to-be Anant Ambani complimented his fiancee by wearing a pyjama set in similar colours. The bride and groom could be seen onboard a chariot which followed a jungle theme with statues of various wild animals.
Other family members were also seen in the shades of pink and tangerine. Janhvi Kapoor, who attended the ceremony along with her boyfriend also followed the colour theme and wore a lehenga in similar colours. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan star Manushi Chhillar also attended the ceremony. For the event, the actress wore a beautiful tangerine saree.

In another viral video, Nita Ambani can be seen welcoming her mother and other guests by applying tilak on their foreheads. Mukesh Ambani, Isha Ambani, Akash, Shloka, and Anand Piramal too were spotted posing for the photographers. Mukesh Ambani’s younger brother Anil Ambani along with his wife and former actor Tina Ambani also graced the event.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot on July 12. The couple is said to have a grand sangeet ceremony on July 5 at the NMACC centre, which has a seating capacity of around 2000 people.
