Actor Rakul Preet Singh has only fond things to say about her Telugu co-stars Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Ravi Teja and Mahesh Babu. The actor, who started her journey with Telugu films more than 10 years ago, was asked about the best qualities of these stars, who have also become pan-India names in the last decade.
Appearing on the BeerBiceps podcast, Rakul was asked what she thinks of Jr NTR, with whom she worked on the 2016 actioner Nannaku Prematho. “He is a terrific actor. There are some people who are born actors, and he is a born star.” Next, the actor spoke about Allu Arjun and said Bunny, his nickname, is her “most favourite person.” The duo worked in the action film Sarrainodu, which released in 2016.
“His quality is that he reads people very well and is extremely ambitious. He is obviously a talented actor, and a great dancer , but Allu Arjun has this ability to read people’s minds, get the vibe really well. He is a dreamer, very ambitious. He is also hilarious. I am very fond of him, the way he is with his family, Sneha, just the person that he is,” she added.
The actor then spoke about her Dhruva co-star Ram Charan, calling him a great dancer and a phenomenal actor. “All of them have this in their DNA. He is also very bratty with his friends, in a good way. He is a very real person; you have fun conversations with him. He is naughty, besides being the star that he is. He is an effortless dancer. I’d be scared to match steps with Allu Arjun, him or Jr NTR because they are such good dancers! They don’t need rehearsals.”
Rakul Preet Singh also lauded Mahesh Babu, calling him a “hardworking family oriented” man and actor Ravi Teja, who she said was an extremely funny person.
