Ahead of the ceremony when Narendra Modi will take oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut stirred excitement on social media by revealing her look for the event.
Ranaut, celebrated for her bold fashion choices and unapologetic style, posted a video on her official X account on June 9, showcasing her outfit for the special day. Sharing the clip, she wrote, “My oath day look, howz it? (sic).” Another clip posted on her Instagram story, read, “Happy to get my movie star glow back.”

In the video, Kangana can be seen wearing an ivory-coloured ensemble paired with a pearl and emerald necklace and earrings. She completed her look with minimal makeup. Veteran actor Anupam Kher also shared a GIF with Kangana, captioning the Instagram post, “QUEEN! Before the Oath Ceremony!”
Actor-politician and BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut secured a victory in the Mandi Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 74,755 votes against her Congress rival, Vikramaditya Singh. Expressing her deep emotions regarding the outcome in Mandi, the Queen actor stated that her “motherland” had called her back.
The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled for Sunday (June 9) at 7.15 pm at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. The event will be attended by dignitaries and special invitees from neighbouring countries and the Indian Ocean Region. Consequently, traffic restrictions and airspace curbs have been implemented in the national capital.
