Star couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor made a stylish appearance at the launch of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) season 2 in Mumbai on Sunday. The event was also attended by legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Sitting beside the former cricketer, Kareena revealed she was awestruck.
The actress, who owns The Tigers of Kolkata along with her husband Saif, shared her excitement about sharing the stage with Sachin. Addressing the crowd at the event, Kareena said, “I am so stunned and excited that I am sitting next to a living legend, Mr Sachin Tendulkar, who we watched on our tv screens at home and gone like ‘Oh my God’, so I am completely awestruck right now being next to him and being part of the ISPL.”
Kareena Kapoor also shared her love for cricket and said, “I have always been great fan of watching and enjoying the sport for its team spirit. And, for the fact that it stands for the heart of what India also stands for. I think when there’s a cricket match, every Indian is glued to the screen.”
For the event, the actress wore a classy white shirt paired with grey trouser. She left her hair open to complete the look. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan sported an all-black outfit.
Kareena Khan’s The Tigers of Kolkata lifted the inaugural Indian Street Premier League (ISPL)–T10 tennis ball tournament title after they outplayed Majhi Mumbai by 10 wickets in the summit clash in March.
On the work front, the actress will be seen in the Meghana Gulzar film Daayra. She is also part of Rohit Shetty’s cop-drama Singham Again also starring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. Apart from these films, the actress also has her long-pending project in the pipeline–Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in his Telugu debut Devara, alongside NTR Jr and Janhvi Kapoor.
