‘Lagta hai maine aapko pehlei kahi dekha hai?’ has become too literal for Mickey Dhamijani, who famously worked as a child actor in Hrithik Roshan fronted superhero film Krrish. In the movie, Mickey Dhamijani played the younger version of Hrithik, but years later, he is now an eye surgeon.
Mickey took to Instagram and shared a reel, revealing his “amazing” journey from a child actor in a blockbuster to now being a doctor. The video included footages from Krrish as well as pictures with Hrithik and his filmmaker father Rakesh Roshan, who had helmed the 2006 film.
“Guess you’ve seen me before? 👀 Oh, definitely you have! I had the incredible opportunity to play Jr. Krrish and work alongside a super talented cast in a film that was truly a joy to be part of. 🙏 My journey from being a child actor to becoming an eye surgeon has been nothing short of amazing.
“The transition has been filled with wonderful experiences and exceptional learnings, shaping who I am today. 🌟🎬 The lessons from my acting days continue to inspire my work in eye care, and I’m grateful for every step of this unique path. I could now be a superhero to your eye care 😌,” Mickey’s caption read.
The comments section of his reel was flooded with messages, and some jokes. “He was in a movie with Hrithik Roshan and he still had to become doctor to impress his parents 🤣 😂” read a comment by a user, while another threw in a Krrish reference and wrote, “Jaadu came and removed his father’s specs in koi mil gaya, and Junior Hritik became an eye doctor 😭”
A sequel to Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish was the second installment in the superhero franchise, which last saw the release of the third installment in 2013. Krrish 4 has been announced and is in the works, with Hrithik, Rakesh Rohan and Fighter director Siddharth Anand as the co-producer.
