Talking about the same, Manoj said, “There was a time when my career faced hardships, I faced financial struggles too. So one day, I decided that I couldn’t take it anymore. I started waking up at 5 am. I would do yoga and discipline myself. During that time I stopped eating meat, gave up on liquor, and ditched all my bad habits. I started working on myself.”

He added, “After abstaining from all of these, I started calling up two directors daily, asking for work. They would talk very nicely to me. Even if I was not going anywhere out, I would wear nice clothes. It had become like work for me. I would do acting exercises, read, apply all methods to myself, and go home to my family. I started socialising with friends again. Thus, I used the time of my failure in a productive manner.”

Manoj also shared that when director-producer Prakash Jha offered him Rajneeti, he thought that the film should work for him to flourish. Luckily it did and Manoj got his great comeback.

On the work front, Manoj was last seen in Silence 2. His film Bhaiyyaji was also released last week. Now, Manoj is working on The Family Man 3 next.
