Aussie superstar Margot Robbie is reportedly expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.

Several sources have reportedly confirmed to People that the three-time Oscar nominee is set to become a mum after she was spotted boarding a boat during a vacation at Lake Como with her husband. The actress was captured showing off what appeared to be a small baby bump in a white crop top.

Margot and Tom haven’t made an official announcement yet, so fans are eagerly waiting for the happy news.

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley First Met In 2013

The pair met back in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française. Tom was an assistant director and Margot was in front of the camera.

Then in 2016, Margot surprised everyone by quietly marrying Tom in a secret ceremony in Australia. Despite never announcing an engagement, she confirmed their marriage by sharing a photo of her diamond ring on Instagram. Even though they’ve been together since 2014, the couple has kept their relationship pretty private, with not much public info about Ackerley beyond being Robbie’s husband.

The couple first became friends and later co-founded their production company, LuckyChap, along with Robbie’s childhood friend Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara. LuckyChap has produced several hit films and TV series, including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, and Barbie, all starring Robbie.

Margot’s baby news comes after an incredibly successful year, especially with the box office hit Barbie.

Her production company also backed another major hit this year, the psychological thriller Saltburn, directed by Emerald Fennell, who won an Oscar in 2021 for Promising Young Woman, another film Margot produced.

Margot Robbie has come a long way since her early days on Neighbours in 2011. Just 18 months later, she starred in Martin Scorsese’s blockbuster The Wolf Of Wall Street in 2013, which launched her to international fame.
