Comedian-turned-actor Munawar Faruqui has been making headlines for his secret wedding with make-up artist Mehzabeen Coatwala since the last week of May. While the actor has not openly confirmed his second marriage, he has not been denying it either. Munawar and Mehzabeen have been dropping subtle hints that point at the two taking the plunge. On Sunday, Munawar once again treated his fans to a picture, where he was seen holding the henna-clad hand of his wife Mehzabeen. Munawar shared this photo on his Instagram broadcast channel called Munawar Ki Janta.
The photo shows the couple having pizza along with their children. Munawar’s son Mikael from his previous marriage and Mehzabeen’s daughter from her first marriage are also seen in the picture.

As per reports, Munawar and Mehzabeen had an intimate nikah ceremony in Mumbai in the last week of May. The couple also had a low-key reception with only 100 guests present. It is said that Munawar’s good friend Hina Khan also attended the wedding ceremony. Soon after the nuptials Munawar resumed work too.
Recently when he was spotted in the city and was congratulated by the paps, he smiled and said thank you. He even gave a box of sweets to a few paparazzi. After his wedding, Munawar also had a stand-up comedy show, where the audience teased him about his ‘new beginnings’, leaving the Bigg Boss 17 winner blushing.
Mehzabeen had also shared a story of Munawar performing on stage. While the couple is yet to make an official appearance together, this picture from their pizza date seems to have left the fans quite excited.
On the work front, Munawar is all set to make his acting debut with a project titled First Copy. He was recently seen shooting for a music video too with actress Aneri Vajani.
