Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have been hosting their pre-wedding festivities for months now and one of the events, that was held in Portofino, Italy, just a few months ago was attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and many others. Celebrity influencer Orry, who has been sharing vlogs from the Ambani festivities, recently shared a vlog from the Portofino festivities where he gave a tour of the extensive range of food stalls that were set up for the guests at the event.
The scene looks like it is out of a wedding function where guests hop from one stall to another and try different delicacies, and share their opinions about the food while also tasting dishes from their friends’ plates. They were served different kinds of pastas, unique varieties of cheese and bombolones with different sauces here. At one point, Orry and his friend Tania Shroff land up at a stall where he tries the “best vada pav in Portofino.” Tania first exclaims “wow” after having the first bite but soon says “there’s a hair” and Orry zooms in on it. After spotting the hair, Orry has one bite of another vada pav and reacts like he is enjoying it. Tania can be heard in the background saying, “I wanted another bite but there’s a hair in it.”
Orry and Tania also land up at a stall serving Manali rolls (soft paranthas with eggs and masala chips), which was served in an empty packet of Lays, and with chips crushed inside the roll.
The Ambanis hosted a three-day event in Jamnagar which was attended by the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and saw performances by Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh and Akon. The Portofino festivities was a part of a three-day cruise events across France and Italy and here, Backstreet Boys and Katy Perry performed for the guests. The wedding festivities in India have also kicked off and just a few days ago, Justin Bieber performed for the guests in Mumbai.
The wedding is scheduled for July 12 in Mumbai.
