Actor and filmmaker R Madhavan, who is generally fit and dashing, recently took to social media to share the secret behind his body transformation after gaining weight for his last directorial, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The actor, in a post on X, shared his diet plan.
Responding to a tweet which expressing concern over Madhavan’s significant weight loss in just 21 days, Madhavan shared details of his fitness regime and diet. He also shared that he was following intermittent fasting and increased his fluid intake while trying to lose weight. He also emphasised on avoiding processed foods and having his final meal before 6:45 pm.
“Intermittent fasting, heavy chewing of food 45-60 times (drink your food and chew your water) .. last meal at 6.45 pm (only cooked food -nothing raw AT ALL post 3 pm) .. early morning long walks and early night deep sleep (no screen time 90 min before bed) … plenty of fluids .. lots of green vegetables and food that is easily metabolized by your body and healthy. Nothing processed at all.ALL THE VERY BEST . 👍👍👍.”

While many of his fans appreciated Madhavan’s body transformation, there were some who were concerned about the actor following intermittent fasting because if not followed cautiously, it can he hazardous to health. One person wrote, “when you are committed to the process, it yields itself 😍,” another person wrote, “You are what you eat. Just regular, healthy food in right quantities and at right times is all that’s needed. Eat what your ancestors ate,” yet another person wrote, “Staying hungry / fasting is the toughest task. I have not been able to do that for the last five years.”
The video that an X user shares, featured the actor explaining to Curly Tales his approach to gaining and losing weight rapidly using applied kinesiology. He had said, “I did a lot of research to find out how I can put on weight and then lose it quickly. The research took me to a test called applied kinesiology — which tells everybody, every one of us — how we are at any given point of time intolerant to a type of food because of our emotional state,” he explained.
