The Netflix reality show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives has undergone an interesting makeover for season 3. This time, its going to be Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, with the addition of Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, Shalini Passi and Kalyani Chawla, representing New Delhi. On Wednesday, the makers of the show shared a trailer featuring special appearances by Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor, among others. In the trailer, Ranbir says, “Riddhima is really going to mess it up.”
The trailer also featured Riddhima’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, who could be heard sharing her emotions after the death of her husband Rishi Kapoor. She said, “After Papa, Riddhima, I used to shake.” Ridhimma added, “We don’t really show our emotions, but we are still hurting from inside.”
The three-minute-long video also gave a sneak peek into the Bollywood parties that the divas will be attending this season, including one hosted by Gauri Khan. Producer Karan Johar, and social media influencer Orry are also seen making special appearances, with Orry advising one of the leads of the show to “throw Maheep off a balcony”.
The trailer takes an interesting turn when it zeroes in on the Delhi vs Mumbai rivalry, with the OG Bollywood wives — Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Sachdev, and Bhavana Pandey — expressing discomfort with the addition of the Delhiites. Maheep can be seen dissing the new additions. She says, “What am I supposed to win from Delhi? A chana-bhatura plate?” The trailer also shows Saif Ali Khan having a round table conversation with the show’s cast. But, the makers didn’t give away much from their funny chat.
Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 3 is all set to premiere on Netflix from October 18.
