Ranvir Shorey, who was one of the contestants on Bigg Boss OTT 3, recently opened up about his experience on the reality show and said that before he was approached for it, he had never seen a full episode of the long running series. Ranvir was in conversation with Cyrus Broacha, who was also a participant on Bigg Boss OTT 2, and said that he only realised the impact of the show after he was done with it.
Describing it as a “once in a lifetime experience,” Ranvir said that he “went inside not knowing fully what I was getting myself into” and realised the after-effects only after he was done with it. “I just felt like that people who are coming inside to participate and people who are watching have made a stereotype of the show. That you have to come there and fight,” he said using a few expletives.
Ranvir Shorey said that he often found people fighting for no reason and ignored it for a few weeks until he was physically hurt during one of the tasks. Ranvir said that it was at this point that he decided to give back to the contestants that he felt were being nasty with him. Speaking about the never-ending fights on the show, the actor said that he had quickly realised that one does not need to fight to be on Bigg Boss but since people inside the show are just using their imagination to assume what is being broadcast, they tend to go overboard with their reactions.

“I am saying you don’t have to (fight). Don’t feel the pressure of the TV show. That’s their problem, the guy who is running the show, it’s his problem, he will figure out what to put. Don’t feel the pressure that there are 200 cameras on me and I am not doing anything,” he said. Ranvir said that he had never seen the show before he participated and only watched clips after he was offered the show. For his own season too, Ranvir said that he hasn’t watched the show. “I cant sit through an entire episode. I don’t have the patience for it,” he said.
