One wouldn’t be very kind if someone were to ram into their expensive vehicle and scratch it, but Sanjay Dutt did not lose his cool when a paparazzo hit his souped-up vanity van with his car. Celebrity paparazzo, in a recent Reddit AMA, was asked about his best celebrity encounter and he recalled an incident when his Maruti Zen scratched Sanjay’s vanity van and ultimately, Sanjay had to step in to “literally save him.”
Varinder recalled, “Long back, 10-15 years back, I, by mistake, went and hit my Maruti Zen into a vanity van hired by production team for Sanjay Dutt. Vanity van got serious scratches, it was an expensive DC designed car. The crew of the vanity van and production guys surrounded me but Sanjay Dutt came out and he literally saved me. He told them whatever the damage was, he will personally pay it.”
Varinder was also asked about the celebrity who helps people when they are in need and he named Sonu Sood, Shradhha Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
In the same chat, when Varinder was asked if he is sometimes scared of Salman Khan, he said, “Sometimes.” On the Reddit AMA, he shared that on his social media pages, posts featuring actors Nora Fatehi and Janhvi Kapoor get the most response. He also shared a list of his most favourite celebrities to click and named Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. When asked about celebrities who are “nice and kind” off-camera as well, he named Ranveer, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
He also mentioned that the Mumbai paparazzi gets paid a lot for Shah Rukh Khan’s pictures. When asked about the celebrity who was ‘on top of the rate card and hardest to spot’, he named Shah Rukh Khan. He also said that they get paid handsomely when Priyanka Chopra visits India.
