Shah Rukh Khan has made it to the Hurun India Rich list for the first time, according to reports. The actor has joined the likes of Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani, and is among the 334 individuals whose cumulative wealth stands at Rs 159 lakh crore, according to CNBC TV18. According to Economic Times, Shah Rukh Khan has recorded an estimated wealth of Rs 7,300 crore. The major contributor to his wealth is his ownership of the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders and his production company Red Chillies Entertainment. Apart from these, Shah Rukh Khan also enjoys major brand standing with 47 million Instagram followers. Not just Shah Rukh Khan, but Juhi Chawla, Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan have also made it to the list.

Bollywood personalities on the Hurun India Rich List 2024:

1. Shah Rukh Khan and family: Rs 7,300 crore

2. Juhi Chawla and family: Rs 4,600 crore

3. Hrithik Roshan: Rs 2,000 crore

4. Amitabh Bachchan and family: Rs 1,600 crore

5. Karan Johar: Rs 1,400 crore

According to reports, Juhi Chawla, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, is also on the list with an estimate wealth of Rs 4,600 crore. This also bags her the second spot among Bollywood’s richest stars. Hrithik Roshan is at the third spot with a net worth of Rs 2000 crore. The credit goes to his athleisure brand HRX. He also has a massive following of 32.3 million followers on Twitter. Amitabh Bachchan and Karan Johar are also on the list.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Hrithik Roshan, veteran star Amitabh Bachchan and Karan Johar have also made it to the list with net value of Rs 1600 crore and 1400 crore, respectively, according to Business Standard. While Amitabh Bachchan and his family have made it to the list due to their strategic investments, Karan Johar with Dharma Productions becomes the fifth richest Bollywood personality.

Recently, speaking at the Locarno Film Festival, where he was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Stardom is just a circumstantial, consequential by-product of this. I have never thought of stardom as important. Yes, I respect it a lot. It has given me a lot of recognition, respect, love, money, my family is happy for it. But if its not there, will this love go? I don’t think so.”

Along with Shah Rukh Khan, angel investor Anand Chandrasekaran, Zepto co-founders Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha, co-founder of Lenskart Neha Bansal, as well as Radha Vembu of Zoho have also joined the Hurun India Rich list for the first time.

Gautam Adani tops the list with a wealth of Rs 11.6 lakh crore, pushing Mukesh Ambani to the second spot. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was seen in three films– Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki–last year which marked his comeback after a hiatus of over 4 years. The actor is currently working on Sujoy Ghosh’s film King.
