At the press conference for IIFA 2024 in Mumbai, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan gave the audience a taste of his witty humour as he pulled co-host Karan Johar’s leg on stage. SRK also praised Abhishek Banerji for his performance in Stree 2.

Abhishek, who will be seen hosting IIFA Rocks along with Siddhant Chaturvedi, was seen admiring Shah Rukh at the press conference. When the Jawan actor came on stage, he responded to Abhishek and said, “Abhishek, it is so wonderful to see you after seeing your wonderful film (Stree 2). I have been wanting to call you.”

SRK also joked about associating with IIFA after more than a decade. He said, “They have called me just once before. Now they invited me after a decade. I would have always loved to come, but unfortunately, IIFA was hosted at the times when I was shooting.”

The superstar also poked fun at Karan Johar and said, “Please come for the rehearsals, Karan. He has told me he will not rehearse. He wants to do it on Zoom. Make some movies also, brother, how much will you host.”
