Last year, Sharvari Wagh‘s video, where she is seen doing somersaults at Tiger Shroff‘s gym, went viral with fans speculating about her upcoming project. Now the actor has revealed that the rigorous training to learn the backflips was a part of her audition for Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe. Sharvari, who is riding high on the success of her latest film, Munjya, will begin filming for the much-anticipating film, where she will be seen sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.
In a recent interview ETimes, the Bunty Aur Babli 2 actor, revealed that while preparing for the auditions for her part, she trained for three to four months with trainer Kuldeep. The trainer is known to work closely with Tiger at his gym and often appears in his videos shared on social media.
Sharvari, who is all set for the release of Vedaa, starring John Abraham, added that while she put her heart and soul into the training, she wasn’t aware of “what I was training for.” In Vedaa, she will be seen playing a professional boxer. She revealed that Aditya was keen on seeing if Sharvari was able to “pick up action body language ” as the 1911 actor I had never performed such stunts before.

When she was prepping for the auditions, she wasn’t even offered Vedaa. She had “nothing to show” to the producer that could prove her ability to do action. She narrated that the DDLJ director asked her to “learn a few things” and send him videos for him to understand if she could pull off action sequences.
While it is speculated that the actor Sharvari is learning hand-to-hand combat for the film, which requires her to nail fight scenes, she chose not to divulge much. She said she has been undergoing training for “some exciting stuff.”
John and Sharvari are set to team up for director Nikkhil Advani’s upcoming film Vedaa. Starring Sharvari in the title role, the movie will be “a thrilling experience filled with high-octane sequences and gripping action,” said the makers. Also featuring Abhishek Banerjee, Vedaa is backed by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment. Vedaa is all set to release on August 15.
