Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to tie the knot on June 23, according to a leaked wedding invite. Amid the marriage speculations, Sonakshi was recently snapped with Zaheer’s family. On the occasion of Father’s Day, Zaheer’s sister and celebrity stylist Sanam Ratansi shared a photo on her Instagram Stories that featured the Heeramandi actor alongside Zaheer and his family. In the photo, Sonakshi could be seen wearing a pink co-ord set, while Zaheer was seen sporting a casual look.
Just recently Poonam Dhillon, Honey Singh, and Pahlaj Nihalani confirmed the wedding rumours. While Poonam confirmed receiving a ‘lovely’ invite from the couple, Honey recently took to his Instagram Stories to inform his fans that despite his foreign tour, he won’t give a miss to his ‘best friend’ Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. He also called them a “power couple”.
Last week, a wedding invite was leaked online which included a QR code. It featured a sweet message from the couple, who said, “We’re making it official. The rumours were true.”
The wedding invite further stated, “The moment where go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend, To being each other’s definite and official husband and wife. Finally! This celebration will not be complete without you so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us. See you there.”
The couple, who starred together in the 2022 film Double XL, will reportedly celebrate their wedding at Bastian, Mumbai from 8 pm on June 23. It is also reported that the couple will have a registered marriage.
Reacting to her wedding rumours, Sonakshi Sinha told iDiva, “Firstly, it’s nobody’s business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?”
