Stree 2 box office collection day 24: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao‘s latest film Stree 2, which hit screens on August 15, has been dominating the box office for almost a month. On its day 24, Stree 2 saw a 100 per cent jump in its collection. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, early estimates for Stree 2’s 4th Saturday suggest that the film earned Rs 8.75 crore. On Friday, the movie had managed to collect Rs 4.5 crore. With this, the film’s total collection has also crossed Rs 500 crore. As per Sacnilk’s report, Stree 2’s lifetime domestic collection stands at Rs 516.50 crore.
However, according to the official figures released by Maddock Films (the banner that produced Stree 2), the Amar Kaushik directorial earned Rs 526.43 crore in 22 days in India. As per reports, Stree 2’s worldwide collection is set to cross Rs 750 crore.
On its fourth Saturday, Stree 2 had an occupancy of 24.27 per cent. Chennai recorded the highest occupancy of 99.33 per cent despite the film only releasing in 137 screens. Other than Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad also have seen a spike in occupancy. Stree 2 has been released on more than 1100 screens in Delhi-NCR, however, the region has not managed to lead with its footfalls.
Stree 2 has become Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s highest Hindi grosser. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in important roles. Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan, and Akshay Kumar also have cameos in this Dinesh Vijan production.
