Actor and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen has always been very vocal about her personal life. Once again, the Taali actor opened up about her relationships on Rhea Chakraborty‘s show Chapter 2. During the conversation, Sushmita mentioned how she is currently single and this ‘break’ is quite a lovely time.
Talking about her relationship status, Sushmita shared, “As we sit here today, I have no man in my life. I have been single for a while now. Three years, to be precise. I am not even interested in anyone at the moment. It’s lovely to take a break because I was in a relationship prior to that for almost five years and that was a long, long time.”

While Sushmita Sen clarified that she is not looking to be in love at the moment, she also shared her take on heartbreaks. “At my age, it’s not about heartbreaks anymore. I invest in a relationship: love, care, energy. And because everyone is involved, I am hugely protected. If anything becomes toxic in that environment, I walk away faster than you can take my name and I don’t miss it. My world is built around trust.”
For those who don’t know, Sushmita Sen was in a long-term relationship with model Rohman Shawl. However, the two parted ways in 2021. After this, for a brief time, the actor was supposedly dating businessman Lalit Modi. The two had even shared some lovey-dovey pictures on social media. However, this affair fizzled out in no time.
As for Rohman, he continues to be a part of Sushmita’s life. Though they are not officially dating, they do share an amicable bond. Rohman is often seen at parties and events with Sushmita. Over the weekend too, the model accompanied the former Miss Universe at an awards show.
On the work front, Sushmita Sen was last seen in Aarya Season 3. The actor is yet to announce her next project.
