Actor Tanuj Virwani and Jennifer Winget shared screen space during the series Code M and at the time, it was rumoured that the two were in a relationship. Now, in a recent interview, Tanuj opened up about the rumoured relationship and said that they still share a cordial relationship. Tanuj also said that Jennifer is a “gem of a person” but added that confirming or denying his relationship with Jennifer would be a “big disservice” to his wife Tanya.
In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, when Tanuj was asked if he was dating Jennifer, he said, “We were just friends. People keep speculating. Me and Jennifer still talk to each other and we still have a cordial relationship.” He then said that Jennifer is “one of the best people I know. They don’t make people like that very often”.
When asked clearly to define his past relationship with Jennifer Winget, Tanuj Virwani said, “By confirming or denying this relationship, I feel it would be a big disservice to my wife. I will always maintain that Jennifer is a very special part of my life.” Tanuj then spoke about the positive influence of Jennifer and shared, “She got me disciplined as an actor, as a human being because we spent a lot of time together on Code M. She taught me that you must value what you have because you are not gong to have everything all the time and if you don’t respect it, it will leave you. She has been a very good, positive influence on my life.”
Tanuj was also asked if his wife Tanya and Jennifer were friends with each other and he said, “My wife and Jen don’t know each other. They have actually never met each other.” He added that he would like for them to meet and mentioned that Jennifer sent them a congratulatory message when they got married.
Jennifer Winget was previously married to Karan Singh Grover. They separated in 2014.
