Hero of the match Annabel Sutherland: “It was a complete team performance by the girls, especially with the bat – Phoebe came out hard on a very good wicket and then the bowlers got the job done.
“I thought we were a little bit under [par] because it felt like such a good wicket, but with our group, particularly at the start of the powerplay, it felt defendable if we bowled well, which we did.
“Through the middle order we have great depth, and with the ball the girls are continuing to do well.”
Northern Superchargers captain Hollie Armitage: “The way we have been ruthless with both bat and ball has been pretty exciting, and we cannot wait for what is to come.
“We have tried to set the standard with our fielding, especially at Headingley with a fast outfield we have got to be good in the field. We tried to set a precedent with our fielding, and I think it has been really good over the last three days.”
