A third person has died after a shooting at a home in Perth’s west.
Emergency services responded to reports that a firearm had been discharged at a residence in Floreat at about 4.30pm local time on Friday afternoon.
Two people were found dead at the house, a spokesperson for Western Australia police said.
A third person was transported to Royal Perth hospital with injuries and police said on Saturday the woman had died.
A neighbour, who spoke to the ABC, described their shock at the incident.
“I drove down that street and the police were more or less outside my house,” the man said. “I was think thinking, ‘wow, this is my house’. It’s a bit shocking. We know our neighbours. They are good people.”
Police declared a crime scene at the property and said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
