An Airbnb property which originally opened with the most outrageous listing price in Central London, has now come back onto the market again, and this time, at a more ridiculously high level.
Turning to the beginning of 2020, a tent to rent for $85 (£68) a night was listed on Airbnb, then the situation got into the limelight and caused indignation because of its limited content and the incredible costs linked to it.
Not in a second, the letter was pulled down but now it’s back for even more money! $100 a night or in total $2,800 a month, also if we add the service fee of $17.15, that’s all you’re paying for per day, according to Jam Press
There is a shared bathroom.
Perhaps surprisingly, reviews are mixed.
“The apartment is very well located and easily accessible, [the host] is responsive and responds very quickly,” reads one.
“For 1 or 2 nights we recommend because it’s pretty decent, but no more [sic],” says another.
Others, however, were less than satisfied with their indoor camping experience, with one unhappy guest complaining that “the toilets in the common areas are not clean, and the sink is not clean either” and that “we suffered the noise for 2 nights of the people from the room next door who went back and forth all night without worrying about being discreet for us.”
