Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is the longest-running show on Indian television. The show once again made headlines as Kush Shah aka Goli has quit the show after 16 long years. Kush started his journey as a child artist on the show and now as he heads to New York for further studies, the actor has bid farewell to the show. Upon his exit, Kush shared a video thanking TMKOC producer Asit Kumarr Modi. His co-stars Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta also penned sweet messages for him.
Dilip, who plays Jethalal on Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. shared a video from one of the old episodes where he pinches Kush’s character. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Kush Shah, this pinch is for leaving us! But jokes apart, I have enjoyed every scene I’ve done with you. Wishing you the best! May you continue to spread smiles! Looking forward to seeing you go far like a bandook ki ‘goli’ now!”

Munmun Dutta, who is seen as Babita Iyer on the show, wrote an emotional message calling Kush her trolling partner. She wrote, “Kush I am very teary-eyed writing this, but bro I miss you. We all do and we always will. My ragging and trolling partner. You’re immensely talented and we are already proud of who you are and your journey. I wish I was a part of this farewell party. Will miss our fun banter terribly. It’s no fun without you. But New York baby!! Hell yeah… All the very best will see you in NYC soon.”

Even Tanmay Vekaria, who plays Baghaa on the show, shared a sweet message for Kush stating that the show will miss him, more than he misses the show. Ambika Ranjankar, who played Kush’s mother on screen, wrote, “Great achievements require great sacrifices. All the best for your future, missing you a lot.”
Kush played the role of Dr. Haathi’s son on Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. His character was a chirpy and bubbly one. His exit from the show seems to have left many of the cast members sad. Even the fans have called it the end of an era.
