US and Israeli officials say finalizing any ceasefire deal could take days

On Saturday, diplomats will sit down in Cairo to discuss a ceasefire agreement that includes the release of besieged citizens at the present time. If this agreement is met by both sides, it may lead to more complicated talks.

The two parties have not yet found an acceptable agreement, so it is suspected that it might take several more days to convince the other side. Negotiators went through rounds of talks on technical aspects of an envisaged contract.Reportedly, experts may still spend a week ironing details out.

An American official on Saturday emphasized that this is the case even in case Hamas accepts the deal in its present form it will still take several days to approach problem areas and eventually hammer a truce. Such topics might be even harder to find solutions to as well as to go through the discussions being stretched. American officials keep on viewing the negotiations with guarded optimism believing they go close to a deal and yet remain keeping in mind other times when efforts were unsuccessful prior to finishing the negotiations.
