The highest-grossing animated film of all time, the sequel of widely-loved Inside Out (2015), is now available on the streamer. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected — new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up.
The Fall

After the 4K restoration of The Fall was screened at this year’s edition of Locarno Film Festival, it is now available to stream on MUBI. Directed by Tarsem, this visually-stunning movie was filmed over four years in 20 different locations across the globe. The Fall, featuring Lee Pace and Catinca Untaru, is set in a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles. There, an injured stuntman begins to tell a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm, a fantastic story about five mythical heroes. Released in 2008, The Fall was Tarsem’s second feature after The Cell. He has also directed The Immortals (2011), Mirror Mirror (2012) and Self/less (2015).

In this romantic tale, an agnostic sex podcaster (Kristen Bell) and a newly-single rabbi (Adam Brody) fall in love. They immediately feel a connection when they meet. From the moment they meet at a friend’s dinner party, both can tell there’s something between them. “But also potentially between them are their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families — including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) and his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons)”, reveals a Netflix news item.

The latest directorial outing by P.S. Vinothraj, Kottukkaali (The Adamant Girl) is a moving exploration of societal pressures that young women are often put through. Set in rural Tamil Nadu, the film revolves around Meena who loves a man from a lower caste. When Paandi, Meena’s maternal uncle, returns from abroad to marry her, she lapses into silence making her family assume that she is possessed. They think exorcism is the only remedy. The film premiered during the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in February this year.
