Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are now engaged. The photos of the couple from the intimate ceremony are viral on the internet. Amid this, fans are also sharing several old videos where Sobhita, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya can be seen talking about each other. In one such video, Sobhita can be seen talking about Chay and Samantha during the promotions of The Night Manager Part 2 last year.
In a video that has surfaced online, the interviewer can be seen asking Sobhita about what she thinks about Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “I think her journey is super cool. If you see her filmography, the way she can headline a project right now, is really cool,” Sobhita said.
She then was asked about Rashmika Mandanna, who she said was “effortlessly charming.” The next name in the line was of her now fiance Naga Chaitanya. Confused at first with ‘Naga’, Sobhita then said, “He seems such a cool-headed, dignified and calm guy, I really appreciate it.”
Around this time, the two were rumoured to be dating each other. However, they hadn’t confirmed their relationship.

On Thursday, hours after reports of the actors getting engaged surfaced online, veteran star Nagarjuna shared first photos of the newly-engaged couple on his X handle. Sharing the photos, the actor wrote, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8. A beginning of infinite love.”
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple filed for a divorce in 2021 after four years of marriage. They announced the news through a joint Instagram post.
Naga Chaitanya, who marked his Bollywood debut with Lal Singh Chadha, is currently shooting for his film Thandel along with Sai Pallavi. Meanwhile, Sobhita Dhulipala recently made her Hollywood debut with Dev Patel’s The Monkey Man that is yet to release in India.
